Eco-Building
Plan was submitted and permit approved, concrete poured and framing completed last season on our first cordwood structure, the HNO eco-centers utility building. This year, we’ll fill walls with cedar wood, add windows, insulate the roof, get electricity (grid & solar)! Sign up for a weekend workshop and get hands on experience! Health Nutz Oasis is a beautiful lush forest retreat where you’ll find friendly like-minded individuals coming together to work, learn, create and have fun. There’s much work to do but you’ll still have plenty of relaxation time to enjoy all the recreational activities in and around Danbury

Big fun in little DanburyIf you decide to savor the local country beauty by pedal power, you may bring your own bicycle or rent one of ours. HNO’s groomed nature trails access both the Gandy Dancer Trail and Yellow Riverfront. So you may choose to take a stroll through the woods to the river’s edge to dip your toes in the cool water, pack a picnic lunch or go on a canoe trip. Canoes are conveniently available within walking distance right next door
