Guest Speaker/Instructor:

The guest speaker/instructor can be involved in all or a combination of the following areas:
Cordwood building, Timber framing, Masonry, Solar (qualified PV and solar thermal installer), Contractor/Carpenter (w/experience in cordwood). If you believe you have skills that would contribute to our cordwood, or solar workshops and are qualified, we'd like to hear from you and have you involved!

Work Exchange:

A limited number of work exchange positions are available. We award these positions to course registrants based on work experience or financial need. Participants receive a reduction in workshop fees in exchange for 10 hours work doing other course-related support tasks. If you would like to be considered for a work exchange position, check the "Work Exchange" box on the email form. Include a brief description of your experience, along with your contact information.

Volunteering

At this time we are seeking volunteers in two main areas: Maintenance of HNO grounds; office work, research - Renewable Energy: Volenteers are needed to research, design and install different types of renewable energy that best fit with the needs and environment at HNO. Example: Use of solar panels on one or more of the buildings. If you can help out for a day, a weekend, a week, or longer, please send us an email to let us know! Thank you.
